SiTime has released its latest product, the Endura epoch platform, a ruggedized MEMS oven-controlled oscillator (OCXO) designed for robust and resilient positioning, navigation and timing (PNT) services for defense applications.

The platform, which was a significant effort for the SiTime team, provides real value for customers and addresses some of their most difficult problems.

The company’s first foray into the use of MEMS for timing was in 2007, but the current model is expected to improve performance.
