The Australian Space Agency has funded the development of an Australian aerospace-grade Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) receiver for use in rockets, satellites, and aircraft.

The project will be carried out in collaboration with the University of New South Wales (UNSW), using an Australian supply chain and qualified for use across a range of positioning, navigation, and timing applications.

The initiative is seen as a significant boost for Australia’s aerospace endeavors.
