The Commonwealth Secretariat and the Government of Azerbaijan have signed a joint declaration in Tonga aimed at enhancing climate action in Small Developing Island States (SIDS) and other vulnerable member countries.

The agreement, which also includes a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aims to enhance climate policies across Commonwealth countries and enhance the resilience of these vulnerable nations.

The collaboration also includes the use of geospatial information to support climate action across Commonwealth member countries.
