Cepton, a provider of lidar solutions for autonomous driving, smart cities, and facility management, has expanded its presence at Tampa International Airport (TPA).

The move is part of a partnership with partner The Indoor Lab, which will deploy new lidar systems to improve safety and efficiency at the airport.

The Indoor Lab will use lidar-based single sensing technology within a unified software platform to gain insights on both indoor and outdoor spaces within TPA 24 hours a day.
