The Galileo Open Service (OS) has been broadcasting improved navigation messages since mid-2023, enhancing performance in terms of robustness and time to first fix.

The service provision teams have been focusing on improvements and expansion of the Galileo service portfolio, which now offers unique capabilities compared to other Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS).

The Galileo program, managed by the European Commission, continues to provide precise satellite navigation information to over four billion users worldwide.
