Finnish company, Helsinki-based company, Helsinki, has announced Project Centaur, a large-scale AI initiative aimed at developing autonomous air combat capabilities for existing and future systems across Europe.

The initiative, which will be demonstrated to selected audiences, combines at-scale reinforcement learning and foundation models for unprecedented performance and collaborative abilities.

The company believes that Europe needs to invest in developing capable and safe uncrewed systems to stay ahead in air combat.
