Intelsat, the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial network, has signed agreements with MVS Television and Caracol Television in Latin America to manage broadcast distribution services.

The company is seeing increased interest in its managed media services, which include terrestrial solutions such as IntelsatOne Fiber, IntelsatOne IP, uplink, downlink, and teleport services.

Intelsat 21 is used to distribute Caracol’s national broadcast network in Colombia and for pan-regional distribution into the rest of Latin America, with the aim of expanding Caracol’s Spanish programming’s audience in Latin America and the USA.
