The Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) has implemented new geospatial and drone technology from Lexis UK to better prepare for emergencies in the county, such as flooding, infrastructure loss, and severe weather.

The technology allows for faster and more accurate aerial data capture, aiding in the creation of 3D digital twins of potentially higher-risk zones, and improving the understanding of access and evacuation points.

The technology is particularly beneficial for Control of Major Accident hazards (COMAH) locations, which involve dangerous substances like gas and oil refineries.
