Lockheed Martin Australia, in collaboration with Av-Comm, has completed the installation of the first satellite dish for the Southern Positioning augmentation Network (SouthPAN) in Uralla, regional New South Wales.

This follows a $1.18 billion contract awarded to Lockheed Martin Australia to enhance precise positioning within the SouthPAN service areas.

The SouthPAN project, a collaborative initiative between Geoscience Australia and Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New Zealand, aims to deliver Satellite-Based augmentation system services to Australia, New Zealand, and maritime regions.
