London Gatwick has developed a new geospatial platform using Esri’s GIS to support various operational areas, including engineering and environmental services.

The platform is also supporting the airport’s award-winning Biodiversity Action Plan, which aims to achieve a biodiversity net gain at the airport by 2030.

The platform contains critical infrastructure information from the airport’s 70-year history, including BIM, CAD, utilities, environmental, aerial photography and legacy data.
