MerlinTPS, a provider of Terrestrial Positioning Systems, has partnered with Bluespec to develop new technologies for navigation and backup.

The partnership will allow MerlinTPS to develop customized solutions quickly, addressing the need for supplemental GPS technology in the face of new challenges such as wartime contested space and increased satellite production and maintenance costs.

The partnership will also allow MerlinTPS and Bluespec to develop a platform that can support the expansion of PNT security capabilities and potentially add AI capabilities in the future.
