This document discusses a NATO Alliance Ground Surveillance Force (NAGSF) RQ-4D drone mission that took place on September 13th, 2018.

The mission was part of NATO Air Forces’ ongoing reconnaissance missions on the Alliance’s eastern borders.

The unmanned aircraft, nicknamed “Phoenix,” collect data for Allies to support their collective deterrence and defense.
