The National Underground Asset Register (NUAR), a digital map of underground infrastructure, has been expanded to include the South East, South West, North West, Yorkshire and The Humber and East of England.

The register is expected to revolutionize the way underground infrastructure is installed, maintained, operated and repaired, leading to economic growth and reduced public disruption.

The register is also expected to improve workers’ safety and public services.
