The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and the Survey of India have collaborated to enhance the efficiency and transparency of land acquisition planning for National Highway projects.

The meeting, chaired by Chairman of NHAI, Sandeep Yadav, focused on the exploration of a “capacity building programme” for the development and validation of GIS-Based Land Acquisition Plans (LAP).

This collaboration is expected to drive transformative changes in the efficiency, transparency, and sustainability of land acquisition planning.
