Hydrosat, a climate tech company that uses satellite imagery and data analytics to measure water stress and climate impact, has been awarded a grant from the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program.

The grant will enable Hydrosat to explore use cases in agriculture, aquaculture, drought, wildfire, and urban heat, and to expand into new areas and further develop its rapidly growing agricultural applications.

The grant will also include high-resolution imagery and geotechnical analysis to deliver insights related to agriculture, aquaculture, droughts, wildfires, and urban heat.
