The Open Geographic Consortium (OGC) has appointed Peter Rabley as its new CEO.

The appointment comes during OGC’s 30th anniversary year, a time when the consortium is looking to modernize and respond to the global economy’s increasing use of geospatial technologies.

The announcement was made at the GEO World Forum 2024 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
