Two retired surveyors collaborated to complete two geodetic leveling projects in Maine and New Hampshire.

They re-leveled parts of a 1942 Coast & Geotic Survey line between North Conway, New Hampshire, and Providence, Maine, in honor of World War II surveyors.

The project, which took place between September 9 and 22, 2013, was archived by the National Geographic Society as L28096, Second Order Class II.
