The USDA partnered for the first time with Women in Data for the Climate Sustainability Datathon, a friendly contest for data enthusiasts.

Over 200 teams, with over 850 participants from around the world, competed, with Team Boulder using data from the Forest Service’s Climate Risk Viewer as their source.

The contest was praised for its enthusiasm, creativity, and ingenuity, and for fostering ideas from different backgrounds to create actionable climate strategies.
