XTEND, the developer of XOS, an AI-driven drone and robot operating system, has announced a $40M Series B round led by Chartered Group.

The funding will be used to further develop XOS and its applications in enterprise and security scenarios, and to increase global sales of its drones and robotics products.

XOS has been developed for multiple markets including logistics, public safety, inspection, and security, and is continually adding new AI skills to allow robots to handle more missions, freeing up human supervisors to manage more missions simultaneously.
