Airbus, Avinor, SAS, Swedavia and Vattenfall have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to explore the feasibility of a hydrogen infrastructure at airports in Sweden and Norway.

The cooperation aims to better understand hydrogen aircraft concepts, operations, supply, infrastructures and refueling needs at airports, and to develop a hydrogen aviation ecosystem in both countries.

The move is seen as a significant step towards a sustainable aviation future, with the potential for hydrogen production from renewable energy sources in these regions.
