The Greek Ministry of Digital Governance has announced an open competition for the development of miniaturized satellites, known as Cubesats, with a budget of €60 million out of a total of €130 million.

The National Microsatellite Program aims to enhance the country’s off-planet capabilities in low Earth orbit and boost the development of cutting-edge technologies in the domestic market.

The competition will run until March 5, 2024, and the plan will be implemented via the European Space Agency (ESA), funded by the National Recovery & Resilience Plan Greece 2.0.
