The Bezos Earth Fund has announced an AI for Climate and Nature Grand Challenge, with up to $100 million in grants to be awarded.

The initiative aims to explore how modern AI can help address climate change and nature loss, and foster collaboration between environmental solutions groups and leading AI technology providers.

The fund’s President and CEO, Dr. Andrew Steer, believes that selected proposals will likely involve partnerships between organizations addressing climate and nature problems and those with AI expertise.
