The European Space Agency (ESA) has successfully completed a significant upgrade to the ground segment of the Galileo satellite navigation system without any disruption to its users.

The upgrade, which was achieved without any disruption, enhances the Galileo Control Segment, which manages the constellation of orbiting satellites.

The improvements made to both the operational control centers and the extensive network of ground stations were attributed to the professionality and competency of all teams involved.
