The Korea augmentation Satellite System (KASS), designed by Thales Alenia Space, has been certified by Korean national authorities and is now in operational service.

The project, which received support from various international and European entities, aims to optimize GPS constellation performance and reduce positioning errors across Korea.

Future expansions of the services include public safety, road transport, shipping, and scientific applications.
