Geo-spatial Information Science (GSIS) is inviting submissions for a special issue on remote sensing, in honor of Professor John van Genderen’s 80th birthday.

The issue will cover the past, present, and future of remote sensing, with potential topics including image and data fusion, AI, Big Data, and drones.

The deadline for submissions is 1st August 2024, with finalized manuscripts due by 31st October 2024, and the special issue will be published in the first quarter of 2025.
