On February 12, 2024, during Geo Week in Denver, Trimble announced the integration of its Applanix POSPac CloudR PPK GPS positioning service into drone mapping and data collection platform, droneDeploy.

The integration aims to improve the precision of drone-based reality capture by using advanced GPS technology for post-processed kinematic (PPK) positioning.

The collaboration will be facilitated by a cloud API that processes these positions based on dual-frequency observables from drones, using Trimble’s post-processed CenterPoint RTX technology.
