Lockheed Martin and NVIDIA have collaborated on a project to create an AI-driven Earth and Space Observing Digital Twin, which can process live weather data, analyze it, and display global environmental conditions.

The project aims to support the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s mission, particularly in light of record ocean temperatures.

The next steps include incorporating additional data streams such as space weather and sea ice concentrations, which could enhance global weather monitoring and predictive forecasting.
