MerlinTPS has partnered with Bluespec to develop a platform for GPS augmentation and backup technology, addressing challenges such as wartime space conflict and increased satellite production and maintenance costs.

The partnership will use Bluespec’s RISC-V processors in Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), allowing MerlinTPS to quickly modify, generate and load new code onto FPGAs.

The platform will also support the expansion of PNT security capabilities and will incorporate artificial intelligence capabilities.
