New Zealand Space Agency Agrees Science & Tech Partnership with SmartSat

The New Zealand Space Agency has signed a space science and technology partnership agreement with the Australian SmartSat Co-operative Research Centre.
The projects will focus on Earth observation, space situational awareness, and optical communications, building on successful international partnerships with NASA and the German Aerospace Center.
A call for proposals is planned for the coming months, with successful projects expected to start in the second half of 2024.
