VIAVI Solutions has launched its altGNSS geosynchronous orbit ( GEO) SecureTime services, which deliver nanoseconds-accurate UTC timing through L-Band and Ku-Band satellite signals.

The services, which have been tested in live-sky battlefield scenarios, are independent of traditional GPS and offer broad global coverage, making them difficult to jam or spoof.

VIAVI will integrate these services into its products and offer receivers for third-party solution providers.
