The AI Alliance, a collaboration between IBM, Facebook’s parent company Meta, and over 50 global institutions, has been launched to promote open and transparent innovation in AI.

The Alliance will form member-driven working groups across major topical areas to foster an open community and accelerate responsible innovation in AI.

It will also launch initiatives to encourage open development of AI in safe and beneficial ways, and host events to explore AI use cases and showcase how Alliance members are using open technology in AI responsibly and for good.
