BR Cunningham has partnered with Echodyne to integrate Echodyne’s advanced Mesa® radar technology into BR Cunningham’s drone as first responder (DFR) solution.

This partnership aims to enable beyond-visual line of sight (BVLOS) operations without visual observers, improve airspace awareness, and lower barriers to entry for public safety agencies.

The current FAA regulations require a visual observer for drone operations, but DFR systems could significantly reduce emergency response times and provide more informed decision-making for first responders.
