The multi-partner multi-disciplinary research project, multiClimACT, aims to assess the resilience of buildings, urban areas, and territories to rising natural and climatic hazards due to climate change.

The project, which involves 24 partners, has initiated a pilot test to study the behavior of permeability pavements or linear urban sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) in response to heavy rainfall.

The project also includes the development of digital models and applications for energy and structural simulation, as the built environment can become a driver of vulnerability due to outdated systems and technologies that did not consider climate change.
