In September 2023, Trimble announced a joint venture with AGCO to serve farmers with factory fit and aftermarket applications in the mixed fleet precision agriculture market.

The partnership aims to create a global leader in mixed fleet, smart farming, and autonomy solutions, allowing farmers to use any brand of tractor or implement together.

The joint venture also allows farmers to use an AGCO tractor with a GPS receiver not from Trimble.
