The General Authority for Survey and Geospatial Information (GASGI) has signed an agreement with NEOM on the geospatial sector and associated geospatial infrastructure, exchanging experiences concerning supervision, management, organization, licensing, qualification, sharing and exchanging geospatial data and information to find technical and technological solutions in the management of cognitive cities.

The agreement was signed by GASGI Chairman Engineer Mohammed Yahya Al Sayel and NEOM Chief Executive Officer Engineer Nadhmi Al Nasr in Riyadh.

The agreement aims to achieve the joint strategic goals of GASGI and NEOM, including developing work practices to improve means of interoperability and integration of digital systems, cooperating in developing regulations, standards, and executive methodologies for geospatial specialized work, and exploring future opportunities for investment, business development, and innovation for the sector.
