Sateliot, the first company to operate a 5G IoT satellite constellation, and t42, a global expert in IoT tracking devices for maritime containers, have signed a collaboration agreement.

The initiative aims to increase connected containers, potentially saving shipping companies 47 billion euros annually.

Currently, 99% of maritime transport containers are not tracked or inspected due to a lack of connectivity, leading to losses from cargo theft, tampering, accidents, and damages.
